Introducing Siris Health
Uniting leading health & science experts to inform, educate & dismantle misinformation
Ever since launching Conspirituality, I’ve wondered how the project will evolve. To be clear: the podcast isn’t going anywhere. We’re at peak listenership four-and-a-half years in.
I’ve just been thinking about creating a space to focus purely on the increasing amounts of health misinformation flooding social media on a daily basis.
The answer is Siris Health.
Siris Health is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit building a free educational platform and curating social media channels that feature experts presenting health and science in a clear, compelling manner.
The goal is to work with the many experts I’ve met cohosting Conspirituality in order to create an evidence-based platform that presents reliable health and science information while pushing back against misinformation and conspiracy theories.
This video explains the project in more detail.
A few example posts:
re:frame will continue to be published on Mondays and Fridays. Every Wednesday, we’ll publish the Siris Health newsletter. As a non-profit, all material will be free (until we reach the point of producing conferences, but that’s down the road).
Take a tour of the website, follow us on Instagram, Threads, TikTok, or YouTube, and if you appreciate the vision, consider making a tax-deductible donation.
Every project takes a community. I’ll be looking for broader support from institutions and organizations that fund health initiatives. If you have any recommendations, please reply to this email.
This project is years in the making, and six months of preparation and paperwork. Thanks for reading, and for your support.
See you on Wednesday for the first edition of Siris Health. re:frame will return on Friday.
